What volunteers will I need for promotion/publicity? 1-3 Publicity/Media Relations Volunteers - people who will help make flyers, posters, contact local newspaper calendars, contact local papers, radio and TV stations, do interview, distribute flyers, and other publicity for your site. 2. Are there suggestions on how to promote my site? Besides the suggestions listed above, beef up the publicity - if possible, have extra volunteers working to get editorials and other write-ups in the local media. Have them working to get members of the press to cover the actual event. Have them working to get PSA's (Public Service Announcements) on local radio, TV and cable. Have them working to get interviewed for these media as well. The more publicity your group can elicit before and after, the better for your site as a whole. 3. Are there samples/forms I can use to promote my site? Many samples of promotional materials are available on this web site. Also, many other suggestions/samples are available in the file section of the Yahoo Groups mailing list for Site Coordinators.
